High Country Shipping’s Services for the Bicycle Tour of Colorado

	HCS arranges for all bike shipping to and from the Bicycle Tour of Colorado (BTC).
	HCS coordinates professional bike assembly (if desired).
	High Country Shipping will be on site at the BTC campground for pickup of bikes and luggage prior to the big ride.

How it works

1.	We strongly encourage riders to make their reservations online. HCS will then contact you to confirm shipping & shipping. Labels will be send to you via US Mail.
2.	HCS arranges for bike pickup from your home, work, or local bike shop. Bikes can also be dropped at any local UPS/Fedex ship center.
3.	HCS keeps you inform via email of your bike’s pickup, arrival & return shipping.
4.	If loss or damage occurs during shipping, HCS serves as your advocate. We initiate the claim, fill out the forms, and see the process through to resolution.
5.	HCS arranges for timely pickup of your bike and/or luggage.
6.	HCS confirms the pickup and tracks the shipment to insure its on-time arrival.
7.	Upon arrival of your shipment in Gunnison we will inform you via email.
8.	Bike assembly is coordinated with the Tune-Up bike shop or HCS delivers your unassembled bike to BTC campground.
9.	At the end of the BTC High Country Shipping is at the finish to receive your bike and ship it home.

	The set prices below are based on a bike box that weighs up to 60 lbs., with a dimensional size of up to 130, and that is insured for $1,000 (additional insurance is available at $1.25 per $100 in value). 	Do you have your own UPS/Fedex account? Please keep in mind that HCS prices are comparable to retail UPS/Fedex pricing.

1.	Bikes for *self-disassembly* can be dropped off at HCS' booth at the BTC finish line.
2.	Bikes for *disassembly* can be dropped off directly HCS’ booth at BTC finish line.
