High Country Shipping’s Services for the CRMBT

	Bike and luggage delivery to the CRMBT campground in Edwards, Colorado.
	Professional bike assembly/ disassembly can be arranged thru HCS ($40 each way).
	Bike box storage during the CRMBT is included.
	Return Shipping.

How it works

1.	HCS partners with Federal Express to offer personalized shipping services.
2.	We strongly encourage riders to make their reservations online. HCS will then contact you to confirm shipping.
3.	Plastic shipping labels will be sent to you. ** View your state's ship-by dates on the map below
4.	HCS will arrange for pickup of your bike and/or luggage.
5.	HCS will confirm the pickup and track the shipment to insure its on-time arrival.
6.	Upon arrival of your shipment we will inform you via email.
7.	HCS personally delivers your bike to the CRMBT campground.
8.	At the end of the CRMBT HCS receives your bike and ships it home.

Pricing and Transit Dates

The set prices below are based on a bike box that weighs up to 60lbs, with a dimensional size of up to 130, and that is insured for $1,000 (additional insurance is available at $1 per $100 in value).

How to Calculate your Bike Box Dimensional Size

Bike Packing Recommendations

	We strongly recommend taking your bike to your local bicycle shop and having it professionally packed. There are horror stories about bikes packed at shipping stores. If it's packed at a bicycle shop there will be less risk of damage or additional assembly charges related to improper disassembly or packing.
	When packing your bike remember TAPE LINES! Mark your seat post height, handle bar and aero bar position with tape. This will insure proper positioning and fit.

Bike box storage and transport to the finish is free when shipping with HCS.
** If not shipping with HCS, box storage and transport is available for a $15 fee.

Do you wish to ship with your own shipping account?
** Please keep in mind that HCS' prices are comparable to retail Fed-Ex pricing.

If you would like to use your own account, HCS will receive your bike, securely store it until your arrival,
deliver it to the start, store it, and transport the box to the finish for $35.

Where to Pick-Up Your Bike BEFORE the CRMBT

1.	Bikes and luggage will be available for pick-up at the CRMBT campground in Edwards, Colorado on Saturday, July 31, 2010.
2.	Let us know if you need your bike earlier then Saturday, July 31, 2010..

Where to Drop-Off Your Bike AFTER the CRMBT

1.	Bikes and luggage can be dropped off conveniently after the ride at the CRMBT finish area in Edwards.
