How it works

1.	HCS partners with UPS/Fedex to offer personalized shipping services.
2.	We strongly encourage riders to make their reservations online. HCS will then contact you to confirm shipping.
3.	Plastic shipping labels will be sent to you. ** View your state's ship-by dates on the map below
4.	HCS will arrange for pickup of your bike and/or luggage.
5.	HCS will confirm the pickup and track the shipment to insure its on-time arrival.
6.	Upon arrival of your shipment at Sunflower Bikes HCS informs you via email.
7.	After the Kansas Ironman HCS ships your bike home from Sunflower Bikes.
8.	If loss or damage occurs during shipping, HCS becomes your advocate. We initiate the claim, fill out the forms, and see the process through to resolution.

The set prices below are based on a bike box that weighs up to 60 lbs., with a dimensional size of up to 130, and that is insured for $1,000 (additional insurance is available at $1.25 per $100 in value).

Bike Packing Recommendations

	We strongly recommend taking your bike to your local bicycle shop and having it professionally packed. There are horror stories about bikes packed by shipping stores. If it's packed at a bicycle shop, there will be less risk of damage or additional assembly charges related due to improper disassembly or packing.
	When packing your bike remember TAPE LINES! Mark your seat post height, handle bar and aero bar position with tape. This will insure proper positioning and fit.
